The CLP human HDL cholesterol concentrate is prepared from human plasma collected from US FDA licensed and inspected facilities. Each donor unit used in the preparation of this product has been tested by an FDA approved method and found non-reactive for the presence of HBsAG, an antibody to HIV 1 & 2 and HCV. The source material is negative by test approved by the FDA for HIV - 1 antigen. The purified HDL cholesterol concentrate is free of significant amounts of LDL. The product may be adjusted to customer's specifications but usually are pure enough to concentrate to 2500 to 3500 mg/dL cholesterol. The product is supplied as a stable, frozen liquid and is used by several of the leading U.S. diagnostic manufacturers.
