Iron & total iron binding capacity controls

The CLP iron control is a human serum control to be used to control total iron binding capacity, total serum iron, and unbound iron binding capacity assays. Each donor unit used in the preparation of this product has been tested by an FDA approved method and found non-reactive for the presence of HBsAG, an antibody to HIV 1 & 2 and HCV. The source material is negative by test approved by the FDA for HIV - 1 antigen. Constituent levels are adjusted to customer's specifications using human serum, human serum transferin rich fractions and iron chloride.
